The Montana Timber Legacy Foundation is a proud, long-time supporter of Logan Health’s Advanced Life Support and Emergency Rescue Team (A.L.E.R.T.) air ambulance program, a vital life-saving tool for Montana’s rural communities.
This Saturday, April 29, Logan Health will host the 45th annual A.L.E.R.T. Banquet at the Trade Center Building at the Flathead County Fairgrounds. The banquet features a live and silent auction. All donations and proceeds raised through the event will directly fund and support the A.L.E.R.T. program, providing the resources and equipment needed to continue saving lives and helping patients.
The program was established in 1975 and was the second hospital-based advanced life support helicopter system and the first rural ambulance service in the nation. Since its creation, the program has responded to more than 20,000 emergency calls, saved thousands of lives, and is always on standby, ready to fly into action.
Over the last three years, the program has expanded its capabilities and established the first neonatal-pediatric transport team in Montana. This highly trained medical flight crew and pediatric specialists can now provide NICU-level care for children on land and in the air. The amazing work of this team is being celebrated at this year’s banquet.
